The Journey









The Journey is a gathering place for a diverse, dynamic mix of college students and 20-somethings as a part of Central Baptist Church. We are wholeheartedly devoted to walking intimately with the Lord, living life together, and changing the world. We want to live our lives as a response to Jesus’ life and His call “Follow me.”

Christ’s call is one to embark on the Journey to truly know God the way that He has designed us. We want to accept the invitation to go beyond religion, beyond isolation, beyond the status quo, and beyond ourselves in exchange for something powerful, meaningful and real. We are a close-knit group that welcomes you to be a part. Whether it’s worshiping together, just hanging out, taking a trip to the lake, we want to transform what it means for young adults to follow Christ together. There’s always lots to do, places to go, and new people to meet.
